Facilities
The College has a weight training room with a variety of machines. Beyond this, the college does not have athletic and recreation facilities and must rely on rental spaces. Therefore, practice and game times may be scheduled at the convenience of the renter and may not be as convenient as one would desire.

Recruitment:
Students may be recruited from the college service area and in those
Connecticut areas where a community college does not off a program.
As
a commuter College, NVCC does not have dormitories nor is it involved in
obtaining housing for any students. Students
must make their own arrangements independent
of College faculty, admissions staff and coaches in regard to
housing, food, transportation, etc.
The
College has an extensive tutoring and advising system for all students and
athletes. Students involved
in recreational activities are urged to take advantage of the numerous
computer labs, counseling and library services throughout the campus.
Intercollegiate Athletics
NVCC has a long history of
success competing as a member of Region XXI in the National Junior College
Athletic Association (NJCAA).

has a commitment to those students who wish to participate in sports in a
