Printed brochures and forms will be accessible in the various college offices including the Health and Disability Services office, K518.    In addition, students may access all information directly online at  www.studentresources.com/college/ViewBrochures.aspx.  Select Connecticut Community-Technical Colleges as "your school".

Highlights of the program are outlined below:

1.      Non-credit students will continue to be automatically covered under the basic “school-time injury” portion of the student insurance program.

2.      All students who are registered for courses in Banner - including credit and non-credit, full and part time students - will automatically be covered under the school–time injury only (Plan A).

3.      Optional 24 Hour Injury & Sickness Insurance Plan (Plan B) – may be available for students registered in Banner (Credit, Non-Credit, Full-Time & Part Time). Do you want to find out more about campus activities and resources for students?

Visit the Student Activities Office, S514

Join the Student Government Association in protecting our environment.  Drop off your used desk jet ink cartridges and cell phones in one of the collection boxes on campus.

Here's a very simple way to recycle at positively no cost to anyone and in fact, it is a money maker for our SGA!

We are excited about being environmentally conscious and raising some $ for more ecological additions/projects to our campus. The concept involves simply putting your used ink cartridges or old cell phones in one of our collection boxes around campus.  This outstanding program is an eco- friendly way to begin to do more to help preserve our Mother Earth.

Millions of ink cartridges are being thrown away everyday, polluting our environment and wasting money. These cartridges end up in landfills where they take CENTURIES to decompose!  Did you know that it can take over two quarts of oil to manufacture a single cartridge? So every time one is recycled, it saves a tremendous amount of resources.

We are hopeful that our excitement will be contagious and that you will agree to help us by collecting these items from your friends and family and drop them off here on campus.   That’s it!  Easy!    There are 6 green collection boxes located on campus for your convenience.  Locations are: Kinney Hall @ K522, Prism Lounge in the Student Center, Founders Hall @ F100, Ekstrom Hall in the 4th, 5th and 6th floor lobbies.

If you know any other organizations that may be interested (churches, businesses, schools, clubs, youth programs, etc.) we can also earn an additional $.75 for each cartridge that they return if we refer them to Recycle Ink.  If you would like to investigate this program further, you can find lots of information on the website: www.recycleink.com.

Thanks in advance for your support. We are really happy to be doing our part to contribute to conservation and hope you will join us in this worthwhile endeavor.

Basketball hoops are located outside on the
