Prepare for
A+ Certification
PC Technician Career - 70 hours
This course will provide you with a solid understanding of Personal Computer hardware and operating systems using lectures and hands-on labs. You will acquire the knowledge to pass CompTIAs A+ Certification Core and Operating Systems Exams. Upon completion of this course you will be able to:
- Identify, install, upgrade, configure, maintain and troubleshoot all major computer hardware components
- Identify, install, upgrade, configure, maintain and troubleshoot DOS, Windows 98/NT, Windows 2000 & Windows XP operating systems

Prerequisite: Some technical knowledge or work experience using computer PC hardware and software. Basic skills and understanding in using Windows 98/2000/XP. Previous troubleshooting experience is helpful, but not necessary. Class Hours: 70 |

Network+ Certification
PC Network Specialist Career - 36 hours
Obtain in-depth knowledge of Networking Technologies and best practices. Learn how to install and configure TCP/IP networks. Windows 2000 Server and Windows Server 2003 NOS are emphasized with hands-on labs. You will acquire the knowledge to pass CompTIA’s Network+ Certification Exam. |
Prerequisite: Strong technical knowledge and use of PC's. Proficient skills using Windows 98/2000/XP. A+ certification or equivalent knowledge and technical experience in the IT industry is desired but not required.

- Troubleshoot, identify and repair defective PC hardware components
- Troubleshoot, replace and upgrade your computer’s memory and hard drive
- Protect your PC by detecting and preventing viruses, adware, spyware, and malware
- Troubleshoot, replace and update drivers

Prerequisite: Some experience using computer hardware and software. Good understanding of he Windows operating system.
