Using and Understanding
a Digital Camera
Whether you are taking photographs for pleasure or business, it all starts with knowing how to use your digital camera. Discover the parts of your digital camera and see how they can work together to improve your photographs.
A demonstration of the image-taking and image-downloading processes will be shown. Learn how to maintain and access your growing library of photos with techniques and methods for proper naming, filing, and organizing. Additionally, various storage & archiving solutions will be discussed. |
Prerequisite: Basic computer experience. Students must bring a digital camera and the camera's manual to class.

Managing Your Digital Images
You have the camera. You have the pictures, lots of pictures. How do you find and retrieve that images you took last week, last month or last year? Learn about the methods of processing, organizing, and managing your growing photo library. Students will be shown techniques and methods for proper naming, filing, orgranizing, printing, web site usage, and email sending. Basic methods of using software tools for photo editing will be demonstrated. This class is a must for those taking digital images!

Photo Editing Workshop with Photoshop Elements
Now that you have all those digital photos find out how to retouch, manipulate, email, print, or combine with them other images! Using Photoshop Elements learn basic editing methods for image control, enhancement, alteration, sizing, cropping, rotation, filters, effects and more.
